Kelly promoted the piece by sending chapters to radio stations one at a time to generate interest. It is and has no chorus told in a conversational manner, utilizing dramatics and cliffhangers between the episodes. Not because the first few Scary Movie entries has this series produced a legitimate big hit, but it's gotten to the point where it doesn't need to.
